Fabulosity!

I hope you all enjoyed Contest Week Extravaganza! Congratulations to all the winners!

So today's post, inspired by my favorite blog Bunnyshop, is whose celebrity closet you would like to raid?

Obviously, I had to think about this for hours on end... And even though I'd like to raid several, my choice is Kimmora Lee Simmons.

Remember that episode of Cribs with their house? Not to mention numerous other shows and magazines who have featured her closet? I love it! For several reasons: All her shoes are in clear boxes and catalogued by Polaroid pictures (she was the first person I ever saw do that, and it also speaks to my OCD side), all her blinged out jewelry is in these cool pull out clear drawers, and I think her carpet is leopard print! Plus I also like to think that I could fit more into her clothes than say, Mary Kate Olsen.

So whose would you raid? =)

Ally,
I think if Princess Diana were still alive I would of wanted to just spend a whole day in her closet (not that I could of fit into her clothes). I especially admired the period after she divorced Prince Charles and she got rid of her frilly dresses and conservative hats and turned into a very sophisticated woman wearing high heeled Manolo Blahniks, Valentino couture, and sporting Ferrogamo purses. I know this because I still own two old In Style magazines from the nineties that featured her style transformation during this period. I think she was a style icon, glamorous, sophisticated, absolutely beautiful.

My runner ups would be Ivana Trump (while she was still married to Donald Trump), Kate Middleton, Halle Berry, Carla Bruni (France's first lady), Athina Onassis (what does a billionairess wear?), and the whole cast of Real Housewives of Orange County.

Leopard print carpet?! I want that! <3

Hmm...I don't think I'd actually want to raid a celebrity's closet. But, if I were forced to choose, I'd go with Anjelina Jolie's. She seems to be the least fru-fru on a daily basis, but when it's time to dress up all fancy, she always looks so classy :)

Hmmmmmm..........Ya know I'm more impressed with celebrities "room" closets than the actual wardrobes. I loved Mariah Carey's for instance, but would not wear her clothes. I would probably like to raid Madonna's (she's has a good mixture of funk, classic, and sporty), Angelica Huston (always a classy lady),Nicole Kidman, and Donna Karen.

My closet raiding selection would depend on usage. If I could sell all the stuff I get on E-Bay, I would raid P-Diddy's (Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs, etc.) closet. I'm sure that I could make a fortune selling his stuff to materialistic wannabe's. If I had to keep the stuff for myself, without a doubt, I would raid The Nature Boy, Ric Flair's closet. I could definitely see myself in any of the 16 time Champ's $10,000+ robes or "RF" wrestling boots. I'd definitely be "Stylin and Profilin" in one of his many Armani suits and Rolex watches.
Signed,
Not Your Dad, but possibly Pimp Daddy Payne or Lootin Lenny, and definitely not Zac Efron.

I don't need to raid anyone's closet. I have way too much clothing right now as it is. In fact, in my quest for minimalism, I will soon reduce the amount that is in my closet. That being said, I will move onto a more important topic. The world lost a great deal of "Soul" and "Cool" this weekend with the deaths of Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes. May they rest in peace.
Signed,
Stephen
