I get a little bit, she gets a little more

Hey ya'll! To those of you living in Washington, I hope you're enjoying the fine weather. For those not living in Washington, you proabably had fine weather to begin with. Yesterday, my brother had a soccer game in the wee hours of the morning (9:30) so I slept in and then packed, because later that day we went to a hotel in Olympia. I am behind in my history/geography/Washington knowledge/commonm sense because I didn't realize that Olympia was the capitol of this state until we got there and I saw the (quite beautiful) state building. It's very nice over there. We checked in and my brother and dad immediatley headed for the pool while my mom stayed behind to take a nap and I stayed behind to work on homework (:[). By the way, homework has taken over my life. In case I hadn't mentioned that. 5 times. Lol. Anyways, after my dad and brother got back, we ate dinner, and then my parents were off to the Huey Lewis and the News concert, the reason we were there in the first place. Why they had the inclination to see Huey for a second time was beyond me, but what have you. My broter and I stayed behind as people 21 and under weren't allowed to the concert (like I would have wanted to go anyway), and I watched him in our hotel room for about three hours. It wasn't as bad as one might expect, Andrew actually behaved and just watched TV most of the time while I did homework and read a magazine. My parents returned at like 10:15 (my dad with a "new" Huey shirt that looked exactly like his old one except with 2006 on it intead of 2004) and we all went to bed. It seemed they enjoyed themselves though. The next day (today) we got up early (no surprise there), checked out, then went to Walmart. Typical day, actually. Well, that's pretty much all that's happened recently. I have to go do some more homework now, actually :]

Me gusta bullet points

There are several things of interest that need to be addressed this morning:
  • I have A LOT of homework to do. A LOT. It has gotten so bad that I don't even get to go out any more. But instead of doing homework right now, I am doing this. Go figure.
  • I am really close to getting my license. But not close enough. We'll see how that goes.
  • My thoughts on chow mein: Whoever thought of putting vegetables in noodles was insane. How gross is that? Please tell me I am not the only one who finds this gross? Mostly all other chinese food I find all right, but chow mein? Gag me.
  • I HATE APUSH.

Hmm, I thought I had more bullet points than that! Oh well. Laters...

No More Metal Mouth (Soon!)

Guess what guys? Pretty soon, as in like a month and a half, I will be able to unveil a new braces- free- me picture! Aren't you excited? I know I am. I have to keep this short as I am babysitting and there can't be unsupervised for too long. :]

For Those of You Who Couldn't get Enough of Me

Okay, so I bet I'm not the only one wondering why Ally got a blog. Because who would want to hear the mindless dithering of me anyways? But I thought what the hey, I'm on the computer all the time anyways, why not join the blogging phenomenon that is sweeping the nation. Even my own mother reads them! You know it has reached it's climax when even she is joining in on the blogging fun. Anyways, I'm not sure what to write for my very first blog, and I am not sure what the main focus of this blog will be. I read a lot of fashion blogs, but I don't know if I know enough about fashion to make my own, so we will see what this transpires into. I might also consider posting some poetry, but all in due time. As for right now, I am off to a dentist appointment, then an orthodontist appointment. That's right people, there is hell to be reeked on my teeth.
