Peace Up, A Town!

This was my favorite line from one of the best songs on my birthday playlist (21 Again!). When it would come on, I would scream, "Peace up, A-Town! A-Town, that's me!". That should clue you in to how much fun I had during my birthday week. That's right, I said week.

Mean mugs and shoulder shrugs. Another one of my favorite lines from my favorite birthday songs, by Nelly. The other song is Yeah! by Usher. This is my first of two birthday outfits.

You know you are an adult when the night before your 22nd birthday you spend it in a cleaning frenzy, cloroxing and washing and wiping because real live people are going to visit you in your studio apartment. Welcome to officially feeling like your mother, but at least it's not a bad trait to have (cleanliness that is).

My day started with quite a few lovely texts and facebook messages. Then I went to two classes, in the second one a girl and a guy sang me Happy Birthday, but a hip hop remix version. Such was my day.

I stopped by my mailbox and got a lovely surprise in the mail, chocolate covered strawberries from Lyndsie!

Next I got myself over to Tukwila to the Cheesecake Factory to meet my parents for my birthday dinner! And Andrew of course. I got the Orange Chicken and a strawb lemonade. And I opened all my wonderful and generous gifts from my fantastic family and friends. I am a loved person!

As if I wasn't already going to have a fatty enough day, I also got Godiva chocolate cheesecake AND they brought me a birthday sundae, AND I tasted my mom's tiramisu. Don't worry, I took the cheesecake home to eat later!

As this was a busy day, I jetted off to Costco after I dropped my mom off at home (Andrew, who is too VIP for me now, had varsity basketball practice to attend). I picked my first ever and coveted happybirthdayprincesscake!

I designed this myself!

I brought this beautiful ten pound cake back to my place, and welcomed about twelve of my friends to help me celebrate by singing happy birthday and helping me eat this cake!
Mini Bell Staff Reunion!

My outfit. I basically look like a Kardashian. But I figured you only turn 22 once!

Blowing out my candles!

About half of my friends who came, silly me, forgot to take a picture when everyone was there

I know it's hard to believe I drink alcohol, and frankly I hardly ever do these days, but this picture is important for a couple of reasons, so let us suspend disbelief for a second: 1) the drink is mango flavored, and I love mango. Granted I think I only drank about three slips before poor Maddy had to finish it but it was delicious. 2) Don't the three of us look cute?!

And since I am all about honesty, I just have to post this picture. Because it defines me in a nutshell. I am ALWAYS giving side eye.

Then the Thursday after my birthday I went out with five lovely friends to the Elysian for a birthday dinner, and even though the service was kinda terrible I had a fun time!

So all in all peeps, I had a fantastic birthday week. While I may enjoy prezzies and loves and possibly even attention as much as the next person, the thing I love most about my birthday is that I am constantly reminded through notes and phone calls and the like how much I am loved and how many supportive people I have in my life. You da best!

Last note, Psych is on and Lassiter is throwing himself a party for winning a case. That is something I would do (throw a party for myself). Carry on.

Oh, fo reals last comment, if there are any comments in the comment section about any of my outfits and/or drinking or calorie consumption, they will be deleted. I'm looking at you, my immediate family! Ya'll know how sassy Andrew can be ;)

Hello. My name is Whitey Duvall. I am the local president of FADB (Father's Against Drunk Blogging). I hope that you waited at least 72 hours between imbibing your last alcoholic beverage and writing this blog (or had a designated blogger if you could not wait). Hopefully, this drinking binge did not prevent you from doing any homework and causing you to make a "Beth's" run. As for your dress, I believe that it was approved by the BWGA (ask me what this means in private)...Just playing. Looks like you had a great birthday week with your great friends, brother and even more wonderful parents. On a side note, I have to give a shout out to a new blog that I've been following. It's called, "Thoughts from the Big Man" and can be found at http://www.thoughtsfromthebigman.blogspot.com/. Peace out, yo. Does that make me sound "gangster" enough. "It's 'Gangsta', 'Gangsta'! You're making me look bad, Irwin".
