Sale Extravaganza!

So, I was online, looking for jeans, as mine are all faded and look, as the french say, le crap. I (virtually) headed over to Old Navy (my fave store) and American Eagle, who are notorious for trendy jeans, but actually carry my size. And low and behold, both were having sales! Old Navy's is 50% already low prices (and no, they did not pay me to say that) and AE's is a whopping 70% off! Which is saying a lot because, they are also notoriously expensive compared to ON. Here are my picks:

This was featured in the latest issue of Cosmogirl! as a pick for 20 items under $20. I rather like it, it's simple. It also reminds me of like the 70's, I have no clue why. $7.25

I couldn't find any jeans I liked at Old Navy, but I found this skirt. I liked it better in denim but you can see the details better here. Cute, no? And cheap! Even if this is too school girl reminiscent for me to admit. $9.99

I'd say the best area hit was the accessories. Old Navy can be on the expensive side when it comes to jewelry. But I'd say this is fairly priced and looks kind of vintage-y. It also looks like you could buy it on etsy, which is one of my favorite websites for homemade stuff. $5.00

I finally found some jeans I like at AE. They're skinny like I've been looking for, even if the ones I liked even better were "on sale" for 39.95. Which is down from $49.95, which just goes to show how redic their prices normally are. But these ones will do. $19.95

One of my summer goals was to wear more dresses. And this one is so cute! A tad Little House on the Prairie, but cute none then less. $19.95

Ally, you remind of this girl I found via her makeup tutorials on Youtube. Her name is Michelle Phan and she has a couple of blogs one of which is @ www.xanga.com/RiceBunny. She talks about what she wears, her love of Target, and this and that. She is only twenty and a college student like yourself but I love her blog. Everytime I read your blog, I think this is kinda "Michelle Phan(ish)". Ok bye, Aunt Lola

I actually like the first shirt shown in this blog. I still would rather that you saved your money, but the shirt is nice. By the way, was I blackballed? I haven't received notification of your last two updates. Signed, Big Daddy V
